I was told that mint water relieves a child's stomach ache. My son is 6 weeks old and I found out today that he has pain and the moaning water is not working. w If this is the case then give peppermint water to the baby and can it be given to a 6 week old baby?

I hadn't heard of it until I saw someone here who recommended it, but I certainly would never do it without the advice of my pediatrician. There are many old home remedies that people and their children use to recover, but that does not mean that it feels good or that the child is not in pain at all, which is not clear.

Mint tea can cause irritation in your baby's mouth. Not recommended for children.
Colic is usually caused by a gas pocket in the stomach. Measure your baby's abdomen and back, or you can try to bend him and move his legs in a light, bicycle-like motion. This will help to get the gas out. When you are young, limit the use of gyros such as beans and broccoli. Otherwise, consider replacing your formula with a cold formula instead of milk. Make sure you burp well.
I've never heard of mint water, but have you tried Mycolin (sp?) For baby gases? Sometimes it works, sometimes snoring works better, and we've been giving it to our son since he was born.
Children should not be so tall ...
Do you ride a motorcycle with your feet? Do you eat on formula? You can also take it to a chiropractor who specializes in pediatrics. Remember, Calc is screaming for more than 3 hours a day for unknown reasons ... which is usually a pain. It can be as simple as gas. This can be an internal problem. You may need to make adjustments (and many parents of Kolki children seek help from a chiropractor).
