Grimace (aka The Grimace) is a fictional character who is part of a McDonald's marketing campaign. He is friends with Ronald MacDonald and is a tall, cheerful boy who looks like a purple rubber ball with short arms and legs. He is known for his smiling face and sincere demeanor.

In 1971, at McDonald Land's first advertising cycle, Grimes had a terrifying smile, using multiple pairs of arms to steal a triple tick shake. After this first campaign, the character was transformed into a good man and his number of arms was reduced to two.
