Can Russian Tortoises Eat Carrots

Can you give carrots to Russian turtles? ۔

If too much? How many vegetables can you give per week?

I've seen a lot of recommendations for ts ... some good ... some bad. Russian turtles are like herbivores and large-leafed plants. The best tea is a variety (leaves and flowers). Dandelions are a favorite. Not ideal for many people. So what are the alternatives that can keep our turtles healthy and happy?

There is a real concern among turtle lovers about abnormal growth and health problems. Plants also contain some nutrients that, if given in appropriate amounts, can have negative effects on animal health. These include oxalic acid, phytic acid, goiter, PS and tannin. More on that later. The key to a healthy shirt is different.

Russian turtles are programmed to eat a lot in a short time. In nature, they are only active for a few months of the year. When they come out of hibernation, they eat hard in preparation for the quest (some call it summer hibernation, not really hibernation, but a long nap).

In captivity, they stay active most of the year and can easily eat more. Also, when placed indoors, they move less naturally. These 2 factors can lead to rapid development and long service life. So your tea should be limited.

When kept in the wild, they can graze freely and get a little extra food every day. I'm lucky to have lots of flowers and blooms all summer and I rarely need anything else. I divided my pen into three and continued to plant 1/3 of the new crops.

Indoors, they move less and rely on supermarket plants. I like to feed them as much as they are going to eat in twenty minutes ... every day. I give them as much as they eat from you ... every day. Both drugs work.

If you make grass (timothy, vegetable garden, shorts, etc.) and mix it with vegetables, you can also eat large quantities of food. I always control the fresh grass.

Green vegetables

Most supermarkets have a good selection of vegetables that Russians can easily eat. Ideally, vegetables should be free from cold and pesticides. However, this is the real world and not all turtle farmers have access to the ideal food. So I have this section as a starting point for different tees. The following vegetables are easily available at my local grocery store.

Roman Lettuce

Russian turtles are programmed to eat fast. In nature, they are active for only a few months of the year. When they come out of hibernation, they eat with gusto in preparation for aestivation.

In prison, they are active most of the year and can easily eat more. Also, when placed indoors, they move less than nature does. These 2 factors can lead to rapid development and long service life. So your tea must be limited.

When placed in the wild, they can graze freely and be fed a small amount of extra food daily. I am lucky that there are enough flowers and blossoms to grow all summer and I rarely have to feed anything. I have divided my cage into three parts and I am still planting 1/3 new crops.

On me

All human foods except those that are considered good.

The Russian tortoise is an abscess that grazes on a variety of plants, including leaves, flowers and stems. Natural tea is high in fiber, high in calcium and low in protein. The protein they eat is all vegetable and nothing of animal origin. In addition, natural Russian tea does not contain fruits, which contain too much sugar, which can lead to the growth of gas and parasites.

Root vegetables are not the healthiest ingredient for them. These people are perfect for phobias, gray matter, plant stems, leaves, etc. because they graze in the forest.

Only if you can catch it.
